Mountain Shepherds Case Study

In 2008, EQUATIONS published a dossier entitled, “Redefining Tourism – Experiences and Insights from Rural Tourism Projects in India”, that brought together the experiences of policymakers, implementers and community members working on ecotourism projects throughout the country. Mountain Shepherds was one of its case studies (pp. 90-99), and our experiences have been included in this comprehensive volume that aims to investigate the intersection between community dynamics and tourism projects.
