Janadhaar Film Now Available

JANADHAAR, a 2012 feature length documentary by Jade Ajani and David Meek about the origins of the Nanda Devi Campaign and Mountain Shepherds, is now available as a download from the Angwal Online Store.

Five years in the making, the film was largely shot in 2006, with the graduation of the first batch of guides from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering and the inaugural women’s trek of Mountain Shepherds. Additional interviews were added later. Post-production took place in Portland, Oregon and translation work in Montreal, Canada.
